Building the UK's largest indoor climbing and bouldering centre

MSB was engaged to realise 270 Climbing Park’s ambitious vision: one of the UK’s most comprehensive climbing facilities. The project includes the C2 main climbing arena with 17–18 m high walls, over 70 lines, outdoor lead and speed walls, IFSC-standard bouldering walls and a dramatic auto-belay balcony wall.

The build was executed in a phased programme within a complex campus setting that already housed ropes and aerial courses. MSB coordinated structural, M&E, stormwater attenuation, and architectural finishes to deliver a seamless guest experience. The centre now supports beginners, elite climbers, and families alike, adding one of the most substantial indoor climbing offers to Gloucestershire.
